This is my little sister from New Zealand.
She was with us last year for almost 1 year. I must say she had experienced many things in one year. Moving to a new house, attending the host family's wedding, visiting their parents etc...
You wonder what she has in her mouth? It is karaage. That is one of her favorites foods, 唐揚げ、餃子、紅茶. I had so much fun talking and playing with her.
Now she is back in New Zealand and trying to come back to Japan for work. I guess she is applying for working holiday?
Anyway, we are looking forward to seeing you again!
Good luck with her life... and find a good boy friend! hehe
Hi It's Bina!
ReplyDeleteAfter receiving a scholarship from my university in New Zealand I went to live with a Host Family while I attended a university in Japan for one year.
If your language is only so-so like mine, living with a host family is a blessing! Being able to live with a Host family gives you the experience of a real Japanse life style which you wouldn't get anywhere else and you can learn in a comfortable environment.
I was extremely lucky with mine! I couldn't of had a better couple! They were patient, kind, and lots of fun! They helped me out, taught me their culture and treated me like a part of their family.
I think because I had such a good experience with them is one of the reasons why I decided I wanted to live in Japan.
I'll be back in Japan soon to try my luck at finding a job and I'll definitely come and visit! And enough with the boyfriend comment! I'll get a good one soon! You just wait and see! Hahaha!
Hey Bina, it is nice to hear from you, and thank you so much for your kind comment!
DeleteLet me know when you are coming to Japan, lets meet up =)
